Alt-ok (alt-o-k) is a keystroke symbol, that resembles a planet and a distant star:

Cosmic imagery is at the core of ALT-ok’s artistic vision. It pervades both his visual identity and his music. His sound mimics the weightless, dark, and heavenly motions of the cosmos. At the same time the songs stay firmly grounded by heavy hip hop, R&B influenced beats.
Alt-ok graduated with a degree in Studio Art from Skidmore College. After a cold, lonesome winter huddled over a basement space heater making beats, Alt-ok moved to the Boston area in spring of 2014. His first project, Retrograde EP, was released in April, 2014, by Zone Def Recordings to critical acclaim from Earmilk Magazine. He released his second project Møøn EP. in December 2014. His Latest Collaboration with Robokid, https://soundcloud.com/altokmusic/mia-xxxo-alt-ok-x-robokid-remix, received some modest success on the internet and recognition from Moving Castle, Nest HQ, Run The Trap, Too Futrure, and other established sources. , Alt-Ok has worked with artists gLAdiator, Druid Cloak, SevnthWonder, Robokid, Noms, twistyknobs, brrd, and others.
Alt-ok has burrowed into the Boston underground music scene playing local nights such as East Meets Beats, HNDMD presents, and Crush Boston presents. He has also opened for acts JAW JAM, eLoquent, Mike Gao, twistyknobs, and brrd. In addition to his solo work, upcoming projects include collabs with Robokid, Dephrase, Tokyo Megaplex, and his secret side project Creeps
His live shows have brought an entirely new element to his music. Lauded as energetic and entertaining. He has upcoming shows in Brooklyn, Providence, and Cambridge. Alt ok is currently seeking opportunities to showcase his work.
