Lyrics

Pain Will Melt Away

Written By: Johnny Ray Light

Head in your hands, hair in your eyes,
hush my baby don't you cry,
tears run down your face like pouring rain,
can't hide the pain inside,

The one you loved has gone away,
but you must believe there is a better day,
it gets easier with each passing day,
before you know it, the pain will melt away,

Well, she turned to me with her big brown eyes,
she wanted to believe,
but, her shaking hands they could not hide,
I gave a gentle squeeze,

The one you loved has gone away,
but you must believe there is a better day,
it gets easier with each passing day,
before you know it, the pain will melt away,

Planet Full Of Blues

Written By: Johnny Ray Light

Sometimes change is like the weather, change is good, it can make you better,
To see the other side of issues, wake you up when it hits you,

You ain't the only one that matters, there are other people on this planet,
I'd like to change your point of view, on this planet full of blues,

Some people think they know it all, all right and never wrong,
rather talk than listen to, someone else who's paid their dues,

You ain't the only one that matters, there are other people on this planet,
I'd like to change your point of view, on this planet full of blues,

This tiny world we are living on, needs our love to carry on,
look around you open your eyes, you can make a difference, all you have to do is try,

You ain't the only one that matters, there are other people on this planet,
I'd like to change your point of view, on this planet full of blues,

We are only here for a little while, with little time, you gotta make it count,
this is only my point of view, you be responsible for what you do,

You ain't the only one that matters, there are other people on this planet,
I'd like to change your point of view, on this planet full of blues,

Money

Written By: Johnny Ray Light

Money, women,
these two things they must have been made by the devil,
lying, cheating,
these two things they always blame it on the fellows,

Diamonds, pearls,
these two things are always expected from the fellows,
well its a strange, world,
the things that go on inside of the head of a girl,

Well I tried, to be more caring with my Sharon,
Well I tried to be open minded, that's what the sign said,
Lord knows I tried it, but I just can't figure them women,
can't figure them out,
I'm talking about women, I got plenty of doubts,
I'm talking about women, lord help me out,
I'm talking about women, I got plenty of doubts

Money, women,
these two things they must have been made by the devil,
lying, cheating,
these two things they always blame it on the fellows,

Well I tried, to be more caring with my Sharon,
Well I tried to be open minded, that's what the sign said,
Lord knows I tried it, but I just can't figure them women,
can't figure them out,
I'm talking about women, I got plenty of doubts,
I'm talking about women, lord help me out,
I'm talking about women, I got plenty of doubt,
