Lyrics

Needle in the Hay

Written By: Raina Krangle

Look at the world, look at the sun,
Look at all the battles, you think you've won,
Up at the sky, down at the ground,
Look at all the happiness, you think you've found.

But I want to know, how you really feel oh ya
I want to know, if what you are is real,
I want to know, how you feeling today?
'Cause I want to know, what it's like to be, like to be, like to be...a needle in the hay.

Think about your old man,
Thinking about your mom,
Thinking about a couple of things, they might have done wrong,
Thinking about your life now, thinking about it then,
How about all the letters, you should have sent.
(repeat Chorus)

Seeing that old guitar, seeing that old friend,
Finding that old pair of jeans, you tried to mend.
Seeing that old picture, of an ex-lover,
Sleeping on your favourite old, pillow cover.

(repeat chorus)

Nuclear Tattoos

Written By: Raina Krangle

When will we care, what is out there,
Beyond our own profit,
What can we do, it's all up to you,
To stand up, don't buy it.

Chorus: Together we're one,
Fukushima can't be undone,
Can we look at those little eyes,
And say, "We did our best"?

'Cause we can't ignore,
What's happened to the shores,
Of all our coastlines,
We've polluted the chain,
We're on the same train,
And there's no more gravy.

(repeat chorus)

So how can we get through,
To the corporations who,
Put us in the quicksand,
No more fossil fuels, no nuclear tattoos,
We can't rely on "ob la de la da"

(repeat chorus)
