Recovery Room

Plenty has transpired in the short span Recovery Room has been together and the response has been nothing short of amazing since then, and we are more than ready to get out on the stage bringing soul and swagger, and making many more fans.

Awarded "Best New Band" from 94.5FM TX Buzz, nominated "Best New Band" from the Houston Press, sharing stage with national acts King's X, Soul Asylum, Galactic Cowboys, and Boy Hits Car. Playing during 2013's SXSW music festival. We recorded and received air play from our local radio-station 94.5 The Buzz and also lost a key board player. But no matter what has happened, we push on and keep the moving forward. 

See, Recovery Room is an outlet, the place you go to let the world disappear and engage in what you love, a catharsis. To reflect on the outside world and find sanctuary, that place where you decompress. To channel all that negative B.S. you face day in and day out and make something of it. Those times when your staring at your own face in the mirror and wondering W.T.F. have I done to get here, what kind of person am I? How do I bounce back, survive, move on, persist and find a way to escape? For us, that's being in a small room that's either way to hot or freezing playing music for hours on end. That sweet release that only creativity can find. Its an intimate process that's extremely vulnerable. This band is more than a project, it's a brotherhood. Several friends became brothers through this experiences and if you'll let us,... it's something we want to share with the world.

This is our sanctuary, our plan to decompress, this is our Recovery Room.
