"Kix96fm Centerville, Tennessee"

Hi! Sheila B from KiX96fm in Centerville, TN. I received a CD by Rick Ryman and listened because I had never heard of him. His LEGMAN CD is quite versatile as it covers a wide range of songs which pulls on your emotions. He kicks it off with an up tempo rendition of Neil Diamond's I'M A BELIEVER. He covers patriotic emotions with WHY I WAVE THE FLAG. He inspires you with HOLD ON TO FAITH. And let's not forget the title cut "LEGMAN".

In person, he is rather quiet and softspoken, a true gentleman. We invited him to be a guest on THE GRINDERS SWITCH HOUR where he held the audiences attention. I would highly recommend Rick. - Sheila B

“Leg Man” is the impressive debut from Tennessee country musician Rick Ryman. Ryman sings true-to-life songs with a great country vocal reminiscent of Dwight Yokum. The arrangements are in the traditional country style, filled with slide and acoustic guitar, violin, banjo, thumping bass lines, and toe-tapping drum beats. Ryman is a great storyteller, and he weaves stories into his work both sad and humorous as he sings about being a trucker, faith, working, and women. “Leg Man” is well-produced, sounds professional and is radio-friendly. The title track, “Leg Man,” has nice slide guitar and drum work, a catchy chorus, and humorous lyrics about trucking and checking out women. “You’re It” is an upbeat track with a violin, drum, bass, and banjo arrangement, great lyrics of childhood and growing up, and a heartfelt chorus. “Leg Man” is truly a triumphant debut for Rick Ryman. Its solid arrangements, true-to-life lyrics, great vocals and styling is impressive and ready for the mainstream. Fans of traditional country should definitely look into Ryman. - Chris

"Hoss The Boss.Com"

Rick Ryman is as American as they come! His small-town Ohio roots, time in the military, and stints as a radio DJ have made him just the kind of man we need to keep the age-old traditions of country music alive. A few years back, Rick landed a truck driving job in Nashville just so he could be near the music scene and maybe get a few songs recorded. Well, the result was his CD “Leg Man,” that has a lot of songs that give me confidence that the future of non-sell-out country music is in good hands with guys like Rick. "I'm A Believer", in paticular caught my attention because it made me realize that this classic rock-n-roll song probably should have been a country song all along. Brilliant cover! (Predictably, Rick reports that a lot of people in the “music biz” tried to talk him out of doing this song. I’m really glad he didn’t listen to them.) - Don Cudd

"MCWC Country Radio Sweden"

This album have been played over and over the last weeks and it's brave to open a country album with a cover of The Monkees 'I'm A believer' and it works out real well and Rick Ryman turns this pop song into country! Then it goes on...slower tunes and uptempo performed with the same great country feel. It's hard to pick favorite tracks here cause it's filled with very good songs here. 'We Said It All', 'Rainin' In November', 'You're It', Why I Wave The Flag' and of course 'I'm A Believer' and the title track 'Leg Man'. Give Rick a try, lay your hands on this album before it's too late. As a radio DJ I find Rick's music very radio friendly and I'm sure we'll hear more from this artist in the near future.
