Robyn Kay has something to say. She sings about taking risks, living life through your guts before its too late and loving yourself every step of the way. She grew up in Toronto and began singing with a punk/garage band in University in the wonderful town of Ottawa. She made the big move to New York City 4 years ago and has found success in improvisational comedy and dramatic acting but there was always something that was less than satiating about acting for her. One day she picked up a guitar, taught herself how to play and began saying the things that she needed to say.
Her voice is a mellowed out version of the punk singer she used to be but she still brings all the soul and guts of a survivor to the table in every song. She continues to find herself through her music and wants to inspire people to take risks and indulge themselves in the greatness that lives within.
