"Album Walk: Rubytown"

Behind ever album there is a story. These stories make the album worth so much more to the artist. For this reason when a bad review is written it’s hard for the artist to understand why. Because of this we have created an interview format that will take the artist through the each story that brought them to the completion of the album. The goal is to help bring the artist’s fan closer to the artist and hopefully help to make the fan feel the same as the artist when the album succeeds and or fails. Each question is designed to help bring the fans to understand why. - iMoveiLive

Bio

Rubytown members, Lenée Passiglia, and siblings Desirée and Donté Coleman, have redefined their classic pop/rock roots as artists by implementing three-part harmonies and cultivating the sense of a small-town trio. Transitioning from their original project as the four member family band, Wishlist, the threesome has four years of experience collaborating as writers, recording artists, and performers of their original, inspiring tunes. After a year of touring acoustically as an opening band for national acts like Aaron Carter, Ron Pope, and MTV’s Donnie Klang, Lenée, Desirée, and Donté were no strangers to the stage. Lead singer, Lenée, was commissioned to choreograph Madonna’s Super Bowl XLVI Half Time performance, world tour, and "All Ur Luv" music video, and collectively and individually the trio has been hired to write and demo for top recording artists like Kelly Clarkson, FloRida, Jordin Sparks, and B.O.B. Rubytown will be featured on Fox's The X-Factor USA Season 2.
Renewing their commitment to succeed, Rubytown sought out the professional talents of producer/developer Tomas Costanza from Chamberlain Records. Along with a team of skilled writers and producers, the band completed their recent self-titled EP in September 2011 at Killingsworth Studios Los Angeles. The feel-good, five-song record encompasses the vibrant melodies of pop, while touching upon soulful rhythm and humble lyrics of country.
With influence stemming from the instrumental intricacy of Led Zeppelin, to the harmonic genius of The Beatles, to the story-driven lyrics of Taylor Swift, Rubytown spent the last year digging deep within their roots to hone in on the sound that best amplifies their individual talents and personalities as a trio. In spite of their youth, Lenée, 24, Desirée, 21, and Donté, 17, draw from the many ups and downs of life to cultivate all-embracing, honest songwriting.
As blood relatives, the pristine quality of their three-part harmonies is unmatchable, and their heartfelt lyrics and energetic songs are sure to take Rubytown to the vanguard of pop culture.
