RydaThaSurgeon

Deshawn Pryor, born December 17, 1990, better known by his stage name RydaThaSurgeon, is an HipHop Artist/Songwriter from Mattapan, Boston. Ryda has gained respect across New England, and has also left his musical imprint in Various states.  In 2012 He was an Contestant in the XXL Mag Battle Of The Singles Competition where he reached 3 out of 4 rounds. Ryda has worked with up & coming video directors such as Quality Images Productions, Sevone Films and  SPRSD, along with radio stations such as 88.9, FullyFocus Radio,The Sayjin Tyler Show and TrapHouse Radio. Ryda has appeared on Major websites (such as WorldStarHipHop & VladTv) numerous times RydaThaSurgeon has released many mixtapes such as “Fresh Off The ER” (2011), “Pre-HipHop Surgeon Vol.2” (2010),  “HipHop Surgeon Vol. 1” (2010)   his popular one being "ER:HipHop Edition" (2011) which is hosted by New Yorks own Dj Delz (The Sneaker Addict). His 5th Project  "Trapped In The Intersection" (2012) has awarded him a growing fanbase. He is in works of releasing his 6th project “If You See Whats Done In The Dark, It Needs No Light” which is set to release 12/17/14. RydaThaSurgeon has opened up for various mainstream artists such as Juelz Santana, Jae Millz, Jr. Writer (Just To name a few)

RydaThaSurgeon has used music to heal his pain and to tell his story. A quote that he lives by is "my failure is my motivation" he is determined to prove to himself and his non-Believers that dreams do and will come true.
