Artist, writer, singer, producer - Scott Tyler has mastered every step of the musical process, and that understanding results in a rich fabric of sound with layers of meaning. Following eight years of success as frontman for I-4, Off My Guard - Scott Tyler's new solo project - invites you to experience the foundation of his influences.
Raised in a small central Florida town, Tyler began his musical career in high school, performing in coffeehouses and local clubs. He honed his raw talent into polished skill at Stetson University while singing with two of the top vocal ensembles in the nation. Upon graduation, Tyler formed I-4 and embarked on an unbelievable journey across the US, sharing the stage with the likes of Maroon 5, Avril Lavigne, Switchfoot, Jessica Simpson, Willa Ford, LFO, O-Town and other top recording artists.
Now a solo artist, Tyler emblazons the acoustic rock scene with his signature idealism and inspiration. As Scott Tyler and his unbelievably talented band tour the East Coast this summer, Tyler's smooth voice and lyrical introspection continues to win the hearts of intimate audiences around the nation.
