So who would win in a fight between a shark and a bear? Surely it'd depend on whether the battle was taking place on land or water? Perhaps this is a debate for a later date as Sharks And Bears is in fact the lovely new sound from The Candle Thieves' chief songwriter.
The Glock returns from the suburbs of Cambridge (seriously) with a clean pair of glasses, and his own brand of wonky electro pop. Heavily armed with his piano, guitar, loop station and synths, Sharks And Bears is packing a batch of fresh new songs intended for listening to, with ears.
Sharks And Bears is self confessed 'dream pop' exhibiting a smörgåsbord of influences from artists such as diverse as Beatles, Peter Gabriel, Eels and Hot Chip. Sharks and Bears winds up sounding like an old new-wave friend you're yet to meet.
Debut EP is titled 'OK, Who Cares, Oh Well, Whatever' and will be hitting all online record stores this October.
