Seasoned musicians and longtime friends, Barry Harris and Anton Cook (former drummer with King Apparatus, Ska Face, Acid Test) started jamming out ideas with Steve Wood (Arrogant Worms) late 2011. In the summer of 2012, Jesse Long joined the trio to contribute his additional guitar skills. As the chemistry developed and new songs were written, singer/songwriter Dan Volchok joined the band to add yet another flavour to the group that would eventually be named Sick Seconds.
By fall of 2012, a band was born. Sick Seconds began recording & mixing their first L.P. in January 2013 The Orange Lounge in Toronto, Canada. Mixed by Daryn Barry (Sum 41, Billy Talent, Avril Lavigne).
Sick Seconds debut L.P. was Mastered at The Lodge NYC by Emily Lazar (Foo Fighters, Vampire Weekend, David Bowie)
