"Sometime After CD REVIEW"

The four man band from Dallas deftly merges progressive rock, alt-pop and occasional acoustic instrumentation with socially conscious lyrics on IN THE MIDST OF YOU. Frontman Gonzo Rincon's crisp tenor voice, with its piquant tone, and a slight Latin rhythmic underton gives SOMETIME AFTER an alluringly off-kilter sound. Add message songs such as "Innocence Lost", "Cleanse ME Again" and "Men of War", and the results are intriguing enough for repeated listens. "Meaning Behind The Song, "Innocence Lost""

One day I was listening to a radio station when they were doing a promo about a benefit concert to be held in the College Station, Texas (TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY) for an organization.

The organization was helping rescue women and young girls from all types of slavery, like sexual slavery, labor slavery, abusive slavery, etc.. They were discussing their mission and passion when it struck me from behind when they talked about the high percentage of these rescues they make in the US, especially in our home state, Texas.

It got me to think more about the terror and "black and blue" we have in this world. Especially in our own backyard and that we fail to see within our everyday lives!

Way too many of us, get caught in our own protective or selective "Ghettos". And because of this "Ghetto", we go on with our regular lives, happenings, events, but never giving much thought on what real issues are out there and how we can get out in the real world and make a change! Like helping these women!

So this song really has many stories, because it made me realize personally, I was stuck in my own protective "Ghetto" and did not see the real world out there that needs more love, peace and God in it! Like these women and young girls that need us to rescue them from their lives in slavery!!

SOMETIMEAFTER began in 2007 in Dallas,Texas as an acoustical duo and soon captured the hearts, attention and loyalty of music enthusiasts wherever they played. Responding to the demands of it's ever growing fan base, the group expanded into a full band and changed it's direction in order to reach a wider audience.

Guitarist Miles Mathewson is fresh, passionate and innovative and Gonzo Rincon leads with his power vocals. Bassist Mark Henry's sound is dynamic and melodic, combined with the rhythmic and pocket syncopations of drummer Nick Sykes.

SOMETIMEAFTER gives a high energy, live musical experience that engages listeners and leaves them coming back for more.
