What I Won't Leave Without

Written By: Staci Frenes

What I Won’t Leave Without
(S. Frenes c.2007 Stone’s Throw Music/ASCAP)

I’m here at the place we meet in search of you
are you as near as I need you to be ‘cause I refuse
to leave with less than what my soul longs for most

This is what I came here for
This is what I’m waiting for
This is what I won’t leave without
This is what I’m desperate for
I’ve had a taste and I want more
this is what I won’t leave without

No other voice can say the words I long to hear
No other well can quench my thirst so I come here
To feel your breath like a wind through my soul
To feel your touch make my brokenness whole

This is what I came here for
This is what I’ve waited for
This is what I won’t leave without
This is what I’m desperate for
I’ve had a taste and I want more
This is what I won’t leave without

the song that you gave my heart to sing
(I wont’ leave without)
the comfort your presence offers me
(I won’t leave without)
the lover my heart has longed to see

You’re the one I came here for
You’re the one I’m waiting for
You’re the one I won’t leave without
You’re the one I’m desperate for
I’ve had a taste and I want more
More of you, hear me cryin’ out
You’re the one I cam here for
You’re the one I’m waiting for
You’re the one I wont’ leave without
You’re the one I’m desperate for
I’ve had a taste, I want more
You’re the one I won’t leave without

I’m here at the place we meet in search of you

Oxygen

Written By: Staci Frenes, P. Buono, N. Sabin

OXYGEN
(s. frenes /p. buono /n.sabin )

there is no logic that explains your strange effect on me
it's like predicting rain or understanding poetry
when i get near to you my heart floats like a red balloon
you change the sky above from jaded gray to wide-eyed blue

all you have to do is
occupy the room
and the oxygen is brand new
everybody takes a deep breath
everybody's feeling lighter than air
'cuz the oxygen they're breathing in is you

you take my breath away and rearrange my chemistry
you're every color every realm of possibility
you make me feel like i can run like wild horses do
every road that's full of wonder leads me right to you
yeah it's true...

all you have to do is
occupy the room
and the oxygen is brand new
everybody takes a deep breath
everybody's feeling lighter than air
'cuz the oxygen they're breathing in is you

repeat chorus after bridge

all you have to do is
occupy the room
and the oxygen is brand new
everybody takes a deep breath
everybody's feeling lighter than air
'cuz the oxygen they're breathing in is you

all you have to do is
occupy the room
and the oxygen is brand new
everybody takes a deep breath
everybody's feeling lighter than air
'cuz the oxygen they're breathing in is you

Making Room

Written By: Staci Frenes, Tony Wood, Brian White

clearing out the cobwebs
sorting through the dusty boxes
removing all the clutter from inside these halls
opening the locked rooms
making way for you to walk through
quieting the chaos crashing through these walls
a few things can remain but most of it's gottta go

i'm making room letting in the light
i'm making room for the wind to dance through
for the music for the laughter
for the breath of life to happen
its long overdue so i'm making room for you

frames of faded pictures
have hung around too long like fixtures
reminding me of who i was those vain empty years
now i'm saying' good-bye
i got no place in my life
for those tired worn out useless souveniers
a few things can remain but most of it's gotta go

Chorus

this all belongs to you
you're welcome here
any time it's your home
i don't want to walk these halls alone

so i'm making room

for the music for the laughter
for the breath of life to happen
for the beauty for the passion
for the soul that you've awakened

i'm making room letting in the light
i'm making room for the wind to dance through
i'm making room letting in the light
it's long overdue so i'm making room
for you

101 Ways

Written By: Staci Frenes

101 Ways

I can be brave when you’re frightened
Slay all your dragons for you
I can be strong when you’re weary
Long as you need me to
I’ll shoulder your burden when it’s heavy
Whenever the world gets too crazy
You know I can shelter you

Let me count the ways
let me count the ways
when you add them together
got to be a hundred and one ways
I can love you better

I can be less complicated
More sympathetic to you
I’ll take your side in the fray
hide you when the world is cruel
I can be patient when you struggle
Be there to listen when you’re troubled
I can stand watch for you

Let me count the ways
let me count the ways
when you add them together
got to be a hundred and one ways
I can love you better
Every single day finds a new way
And I’ll keep looking forever
got to be hundred and one ways
I can love you

Better than before better than I’ve been lately
I wanna love you more
and for all the times your love has saved me
I’m so grateful for you

Chorus

Wise Men and Angels

Written By: Staci Frenes, Nate Sabin

wise men and angels

(Staci Frenes/Stone’s Throw Music/ASCAP and Nate Sabin/lorilu music/ASCAP)

on a night like this one
yet different from any one
one star outshone all the rest
and those who were searching
they followed it to Bethlehem
and found eternity there
His glory had drawn them
now worship compelled them
to lift up their voices and cry

we bow before him
and bring our offerings
we join all of the angels to sing
(gloria gloria)

so through the ages
the splendor of this miracle
gives light to a world grown dark
and we who are searching
will find our own Bethlehem
where heaven is born in our hearts
and there in His glory
we gaze with wonder
at all that love brought us that night

we bow before him
and bring our offerings
we join all of the angels to sing
(gloria gloria)
