“Become Like One,” a song reminiscent of modern day Paul Simon, from Idea of Love, out May 20th. - American Songwriter
"Think of the last time you heard a song in which the singer begged for a ride home: it was most likely a metaphor or a desperate cry for sex. Not this time. Getting it up is not an option; getting safely to a mattress, a necessity." - Splice Today
"What’s really cool about this job is when you don’t have to struggle to find the best qualities. When they are all in place from lyrics, musicality to final production, it’s just the best.
Authentically bluesy and folksy, The Boston Boys are in shape to take the airwaves and own the stage with their latest Keep You Satisfied. There’s mixed spirits of Muddy Waters and Norah Jones within these tunes. And a sound that’s a total surprise as it springs forth from this Brooklyn band.
In short, The Boston Boys are extremely talented artists and do it all well." - Rock World Magazine
"More and more, I’m finding myself strung out by soul. Combining fiddles, electric mandolins and fizzling guitars with unexpected drumbeats, The Boston Boys have hooked a soniferous strangeness. At first play you find yourself insta-chilled, yet the longer you listen the more you find there’s definite movement beneath their deceptively cool exteriors." - Bigger Than Beyonce
"It's been said variety is the spice of life, but you get the impression many musical acts these days don't truly take the axiom to heart. If they did, perhaps radio would be a more inviting place for sincere music fans and album sales would return again to the music business' glory days. The Boston Boys love music – presumably any and all music – and it shows on this brief, five-song EP. Sadly, there are double-digit track albums released every day that don't have nearly the range of this short sampling." - antimusic.com
"I really like the sound on this EP. It’s pretty unique. There is overall sort of a modernistic, electronic sort of edge. Within that sound, though, there are soulful R&B sort of moments, things that land in blues territory and even some country edges. It’s all meshed into a sound that feels cohesive. This is an unusual and quite effective set. It leaves me wanting to hear more from these guys." - Music Street Journal

Bio
The Boston Boys don’t live in Boston. Though they take their name from a traditional fiddle tune, every other convention shatters below the weight of an original sound. A culmination of radically different musical backgrounds ranging from California Soul to New York Bluegrass, The Boston Boys master a supercharged Americana style they describe as “Future Roots.” They forge their music on tour throughout the world, inspiring prolific songwriting that reaches across borders and genres alike. Whether your soundtrack is their studio recordings or you join them in concert, The Boston Boys radiate creative energy. An inventive combination of virtuosic musicianship, sharp-witted lyrics and danceable melodies, this bone-shaking fusion of American music is soulful and reverent for 1950 and 2050, respectively.
