The Lawn Boys is an original band from New London, Ct. with a mix of rock, jam, world, and jazz. The band is made up of musicians who individually have been playing for well over twenty years. Members have played in popular regional bands and also have been part of national acts Vertical Horizon and The Doobie Brothers. They have opened for such touring acts as The Breakfast at Toad's Place, New Haven Ct., Pat McGee of the Pat McGee Band and Keith Kane of Vertical Horizon, at the Webster Theater, Hartford, Ct, and The Attic, a touring band from RI., at The Acoustic Cafe in Bridgeport, Ct. They've also done radio shows in New Paltz, NY and Medford (Boston) Ma.. They've played and are scheduled for a number of music festivals this season including the Keene Music Festival, Keene, New Hampshire, the Freedom and Harvest Festivals, Starks, ME, Harmony Harvest Festival, Harmony, ME, and Hobofest in Saratoga Springs, NY.

The Lawn Boys has provided an opportunity for them to freely create music with their own unique and open-minded approach. With influences from The Beatles to Zappa, James Brown to Ravi Shankar, and BB King to the Mahavishnu Orchestra - it's hard to stay exactly where their music style ends up. One thing is for sure, they love to make music. It's all good. Rock, funk, jazz, reggae, progressive, world or a fusion of each. "We're having a blast going any direction the music takes us. Hope we can take you with us! "
