"The Little Brothers “Love Won’t Be Mine”"

Here you go, world. Get into these guys now because they are on the fast track to the big time. Showtime Shamus Currie, Slick Rick Haubrich, Spenny “The Baddest Man” Rayner, and Big Brother Kyle “Kyle” Krysa are collection of highly trained musicians (and friends) who have decided “to hang up the formal training and get down to their roots and rock hard with great songs, tight vocal harmonies and a great live show.”

It’s one thing to be an excellent musician, but quite another to forget all the things you’ve learned (leave that to the muscle-memory) and just plain get down with heavy, sweaty energy and catchy hooks. The Little Brothers definitely pull it off, as far as I’m concerned. they are a great live show and a timeless band that Saskatoon can be proud of. In the video below for “Love Won’t Be Mine,” just released yesterday, TL Bro’s shed the amps and the fuzz for an open and honest acoustic performance.

*WARNING: This video will make you a fan.

Bio

"What happened to music?" is a popular rallying cry amongst music fans in the 21st century. Driven crazy by the prevalence of oversimplified, monotonous music and a general dearth of musical talent, music appreciators are long overdue to have some real substance come their way. The Little Brothers deliver it. If you find yourself craving proper rhythm, harmony, melody and, god forbid, a guitar solo, The Little Brothers have the cure for what ails you. Boasting a 4 piece lineup with a combined 20 years of formal training, The Little Brothers toss formalities aside to have an energetic and engaging live show that hearkens back to bands like The Allman Brothers, Led Zeppelin, Grand Funk, The Beatles, The Black Keys, and The Sheepdogs. With two guitars, bass, drums, vocal harmonies, and even a little brass thrown in there, The Little Brothers are capable of delivering a massive payload of rock 'n' roll good vibes. Brothers Showtime Shamus Currie, Slick Rick Haubrich, Spenny "The Baddest Man" Rayner, and Big Brother Kyle "Kyle" Krysa form a foursome of rock 'n' roll bliss that you don't want to miss.

"Theres always that moment as an older brother when a sibling no longer looks up to you and surpasses you in ability. The Little Brothers are aptly named as they truly embody this feeling. While watching them as a musician, I feel great sense of brotherly pride mixed with jealousy at their musical skills as performers."

Ryan Gullen, The Sheepdogs

"Don't know if Ive been as impressed by a Saskatoon band, let alone on their debut show."
