Bio
Vanessa Lavoie was born in Gatineau, Quebec Canada in 1994. She is an English and French singer, songwriter and Composer. She won several singing competitions and was given professional contracts to sing in different Festivals and shows since the age of 12. Vanessa opened for "Simple Plan" in front of an audience of over 90,000 people in 2012, and she has over 500 stage performances. She released her first Country album in 2010.
Vanessa is now being Professionally managed by Jim Richardson Jr. and John Rabby in the U.S. and has just recorded her 2nd album at Tone Slingers Studios in Nashville, TN. which is due to be released this summer 2016. This album consists of 11 personally selected great country songs by Vanessa from a great variety of writers, with one of the songs coming from a great Country song writer, Bobby Fischer who after hearing Vanessa's power and talent contacted her management and asked to have one of his songs on her album, and after listening to a select few of the songs Vanessa chose "She's Having The Times Of Her Life" this song is sure to become a hit song. A little about Bobby Fischer; he has over 600 cuts by A-list artists with songs recorded by Reba, Celine Dion, Conway Twitty, and also a song on the late Mindy McCready's album that went platinum, and more. As mentioned when Bobby heard Vanessa's voice he wanted a song on her album and came to Tone Slingers Studio to meet her and listen to her do a scratch recording of his song. He loved it and has sent us more songs to consider on her next album.
Vanessa also has some professional media interviews from major newspapers, magazines and radio stations. When she sings she captures everyone's attention with her powerful vocals and angelic voice. She always has lines of people waiting for her autograph and picture with her. At 21 years of age Vanessa is sure to become more and more popular with every show and performance.
