Dear Vanessa,
Just saw your show on Live At Gotham. Never contacted a comedian before, but your performance kinda hit me, and I wanted to say thanks.
Honestly, I'm a white kid from Montana (relocated to Las Vegas), so you might not think we have much in common. But I felt like could relate to a lot of the things you were talking about in the show. . I'm glaucomatic and partially blind in my left eye, have a dad that left, and am trying to do something that I love for a living, which is writing. I dropped out of college and quit on a pre law degree to do it, which was at first kind of terrifying. I'm finally starting to see results though, and it's stopped seeming as scary to pursue an alternative, unique lifestyle.
At the beginning of the show when you said how you were glad to be doing comedy, which you seem born to do, it kinda me a little reasurrance. So just wanted to say thanks for that. And congratulations on being on your way to the big time. Gratefully, Gus Hoosteval

Caught Vanessa on Live at Gotham on Friday night. Wow! Where has she been hiding. I haven't laughed this hard in quite a while. My normally serious wife was even laughing. Vanessa is definitely a major talent just waiting to be discovered. Thanks for keeping us laughing. Kyle Smith

Bio
Born and raised in St. Paul, MN this talented, driven and most importantly, funny Stand Up Comedienne, Vanessa Graddick has been taking comedy by storm. In record time, Vanessa has performed all over the country including major Comedy Clubs in California, New York, Washington, DC, Pennsylvania, Florida and more. Based in California she is a regular at venues such as The Comedy Union, The Laugh Factory, Improv, and the Ice House Comedy Club. In 2007, Vanessa won the Uncle Clydes Comedy Competition at the Ice House. As the winner of this competition she competed in the 2007 Boston Comedy Festival. Additionally she has participated in the New York Underground Comedy Festival and the Bay Area Black Comedy Competition. Most recently Vanessa has expanded her experience to performing for American Soldiers in South Korea, taping Byron Allens Comics Unleashed and Comedy Central's Live at Gotham.
With her introspective and thought provoking comedy, Vanessa Graddick is proving quickly to be a name to watch out for as this up and coming comedienne is surely on her way to the top.
