Bio
White Women as a group of people have known each other for a long long time, so it's only natural that we make noise together. Formed from ex-members of Ghosts of Modern Man (who made an appearance at the 1st annual Sled Island festival at the Royal Legion) and Bluebeard (who were signed to Calgary's Melodiya Records), we have always had an interest in listening to and making crazy noisy rock and roll. The time felt right for us to start playing again, so in the last few months we've been getting together and hashing it out. All of us are fans of bands like the jesus lizard, drive like jehu, quicksand etc, and im sure it shows, but we've definitely managed to make it our own thing. Mostly its about fun for us, sweaty loud fun, I mean c'mon, it's only rock n' roll.
