The phrase "born to do this" describes Brennan Leeds and Christopher Copeland. Since the ages of 10 and 12, after a facebook post saying lets start a band, Brennan and Chris have been playing live music. Starting like so many others at a three song gig for a friends birthday party in a rural barn, Leeds and Copeland played rock and roll in a variety of bands and even wrote original material in the punk rock genre that they recorded in a Tulsa studio and put on Itunes with a three piece band_BC Gunn. They even performed for the executive producers of America's Got Talent but did not make the TV version of the show. Both guys grew up in homes filled with music as their dads play in a cover band, so their homes were always filled with the music of the greats: Dylan, The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkel. They took these influences and merged them with contemporary influences like John Mayer, Coldplay, Bon Iver, Mumford and Sons, and The Fleet Foxes. They'd found their sound.

Then, the magic happened. The boys met with producer/singer/songwriter Joshua Payne and played him a couple of tunes from a new album they finished in the spring of 2010. Payne thought that he might spend a couple of days with the guys to check them out and see if there was something to this duo from a small town in Arkansas. In the first three days they were together they wrote seven new songs, five of which are on their brand new album_arguably the most beautiful studio album crafted in Nashville this year.
