Candi Redd is an American hip hop artist, songwriter and producer from Alief, Houston, TX. Growing up in broken home with only her mother and younger sibling, she overcame drug addiction, teen pregnancy, and many obstacles, using music as her outlet. The 19 year old wrote and recorded the billboard hit single, Independent Bitches in 2009 landing her a deal with Warner Brother Records. After giving birth to a beautiful baby girl in 2011, she took some time away from music to be a mother and regroup. 2015, Candi requested and was released from Warner Brother Records. Back with her hit single, "Do It Again," Candi Redd is ready to take the industry by storm.
