"CMajor Market Potential for Track Title "First Love""

The intro to this song had some very beautiful piano chords. It was wonderful to listen to. This is a very nice and very well played piano. This is so calm and beautiful and I can fall in love with this. Great piano piece, soft at the beginning and heightens in the middle. So serene and simple. For a simple piano piece, the amount of emotion packed into this is overwhelming. Stunning piece of music, and it's just the right length. I just simply love it. It's so relaxing and emotive. Not to mention the gorgeous tone of the piano. - Sound Out Consumer Insight Report

"Acoustic Press Review"

We have just finished listening to "Empty Spaces", a CD featuring six instrumental tunes by the artist CMajor. The performer is Carol Porter on acoustic piano. It is a little curious that the CD was recorded using a software application. We were informed that the recording was done on a keyboard, a Motif. Yet the outcome was a carefully engineered sound that models a high-class Boesendorfer grand piano. The artist was able to capture the nuances of a natural sounding acoustic piano in the final mix. The recording portrays an elegant, beautiful yet courageous idea of romance gone wrong. The pretension of perfect love has been abandoned. The listener picks up this fluttering feeling especially in "Gut Feeling". We were struck by the gentle nature of the CD given its song titles which suggest heartbreak and struggle, with the exception of J.S. Ramblings. J.S. Ramblings is a fleeting tune that gives a classical nod to J.S. Bach. An odd piece was "Not Mean To Be" where the listener is struck by harmonies that clash with a more subtle and tonal part to make up an alternating exchange of bitter and sweet. Overall, the recording was a good first effort. We hope that the artist will continue to create. If she keeps writing more tunes, we feel certain that good things will come into her as an original artist who is not afraid to be innovative. - Ten Thousand Friends Media
