From A&R reps and music publishers to booking agents and talent buyers, over 3000 industry insiders from Canada and beyond descend on the streets of Toronto looking for the next big thing.


Produced by CAAMA, Canadian Music Fest takes place March 10-13, 2010 during Canadian Music Week - Canada's annual music convention and film festival - strategically situated on the weekend preceding SXSW, providing international bands with an advantage to budget dates more effectively.


For four nights in March, Toronto's most popular clubs and music halls throw open their doors to the general public and the industry at large to create an electrifying musicfest of discovery featuring performances by tomorrow's emerging artists to today's hottest concert hit-makers.

In addition, all entrants will receive a free year's subscription to Canadian Musician magazine and a two-year membership to C.A.A.M.A. (Canadian Association for the Advancement of Music and the Arts) - a national, non-profit organization dedicated to the commercial development of the Canadian sound recording business domestically and internationally.
