I enjoyed the songs very much. As you read above, the scores were high. My favorite song was "Miss You Baby." To give you insight to the scoring scale above, the majority of artists score in the 2.5 to 3.5 range in the various categories. Whenever an artist sees a 1, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 or 3.5 as a score in a certain category (or categories) it means that's an area I feel they need to improve and develop. When an artist sees 4, 4.5 or 5 as their score in a category, it's a validation from a professional, confirming that the songs are of the highest level and show strong potential in the ultra-competitive music industry. To really raise the bar, every artist should work hard to earn a 4.5 or 5 in every category. It's a very competitive business and people averaging in the 3's (or less) will probably not get too far without a great deal of improvement and development. I don't give out 4's and 5's easily, so any of those you see, you have earned. Well done! -------------------------- If you are trying to gain the attention of record companies, music publishers, booking agents or top managers, your game plan should include: college radio promotion, publicity, live performances, Internet marketing, social media and CD/merchandise sales. Just having a great CD and live show are no longer enough in today's music business. You have to show industry executives you have a product that has been marketed successfully on the local or regional level. ---------------------------- On a side note, to send this message to you via the SonicBids system, I have to click on "Selected" or "Not Selected." FOX TV FOR SEMI FINALIST COLLEEN
Soon after Colleen Clark from Florida, USA, contacted the Fox Television Network with news of her semi finalist position in the UK Songwriting Contest 2007 she suddenly found herself being interviewed on TV in the States. You can clearly see Colleen's UK Songwriting Contest Semi Finalist Certificate as the camera zooms in for a close up. She told us "The UKSC songwriting contest is a great tool to open doors for your music. I won semi-finalist and was encouraged about my songwriting and then contacted media regarding the contest via the web. One particular news channel showed interest and I pressed along - the rewards are "pinch me is this happening?" Thanks UKSC!"

Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce sponsors music at artists' market

The Largo/Mid-Pinellas Chamber of Commerce is sponsoring several musical acts to entertain crowds at this year's Central Park Artists' Market.

The event takes place 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 22 at Largo Central Park on East Bay Drive.

A variety of original artwork will be displayed and for sale including acrylic/oil paintings, graphics, pastels, jewelry, ceramics, photography, leather, sculptures and more. There will also be a variety of food and refreshment vendors.

The entertainers and performance schedule is as follows:


• Colleen Clark & Company — Saturday and March 22 from 3 to 4:30 p.m.

Colleen Clark is a self-taught rhythm acoustic guitarist and singer from Canada who this year signed a recording deal with Empty Vessel Music of Atlanta. She has been interested in the guitar as long as she can remember. Her musical influences began with Elvis Presley, and include such female artists as Madonna, Heart, Sheryl Crow, Melissa Etheridge and Jewel.

Colleen Clark, singer/songwriter/acoustic guitarist from Canada, living in Florida since 1996, inspired to play her songs out and touch others after her brother Eric died of Aids at the age of 29. She recently got signed to a non-profit label out of Atlanta, Empty Vessel Music, who uses music to help others.
