Q: what is analogue lofilectro?
A: it's all about the spirit of lofi homerecording being catalyzed by analogue electronic powers.
for more than ten years GREAT DYNAMO has been homerecording. melting big meldodies, swinging loops, singing guitars and sawing organs to what some people may consider as contemporary pop music. using every kind of track recorder he cand get hold of he is standing in the line of lo-fi artists like Daniel Johnston, Beck and The Velvet Underground.
GREAT DYNAMO is singing about the crazy times trying to catch simple lost things with a rope. the songs work by GREAT DYNAMOs unique voice and songwriting.
the outcome is a unique mixture of electronics, songwriting and unrestrained resistance to many common rules and regulations. sometimes irritating, often eclectic and always just charming.
