" "Stephan Dudash cuts a remarkable figure""

Stephan Dudash (viola) cuts a remarkable figure, infused the musical dialogue with inspired moments of purely instrumental joy and surprising originality, without losing a certain Southern touch which is only to be expected from a Nashville musician. Dudash engaged with John Jorgenson in spectacular sound duels. Their mixture of jazz, rock and funk worked the audience into a state of emotional frenzy. So enthusiastic was the audience that they wouldn’t allow the musicians to leave the stage. In spite of the late hours, the band expressed their gratitude by playing four encores.

""Stephan is a true master of his instrument ""

“Stephan Dudash takes you through a musical journey that leads you emotionally from song to song with unwavering depth and intensity. Stephan’s lively, fun personality shines through in his originals “Gypsy Girl”, “Stephan’s Samba”, “Dee Bop”, and on many other tunes. His sentimental side soars with such songs as “Paradise”, “ My Viola Gently Weeps”, and “Smiles”, and on two of his songs he tastefully weaves some wonderful vocals. Stephan is a true master of his instrument and as a songwriter as shown throughout his CD. “Gypsy Quest” meets its destination as Stephan’s gypsy soul bleeds through. I highly recommend it.”

""Stephan Dudash will scare the daylights out of you.""

BadaBing BadaBoom, the outfit that was swingin' hard before the current swing craze kicked in. Songwriter Eddie Mugavero's considerable musical muscle is matched by his deliciously twisted sense of humor. [These are] an unfairly gifted cast of singers & players . . . Taking nothing away from the rest of the troupe . . . five-string violist Stephan Dudash will scare the daylights out of you."
- Rusty Russel - Music Row Magazine
