From the quietly compelling "Strange" to the insistent "Take Me Back", bleak but haunting "Road to Nowhere", these two have a sound you think you've heard before but can't exactly put your finger on it.
This, of course, is a good thing.
Their unadorned harmony vocals and acoustic guitars are all that's needed to get their point across, and they do it in a comfortable living room way that's been lost in recent years.

Split the Bill's soaring harmonies, intricate musicianship and powerfully insightful lyrics results from Myra and Elisa's intense connection and devotion to their craft.
Compared most often to the Indigo Girls, they also display an urban, edgy sensbillity that can morph into a mountain influenced "high lonesome" sound with equal parts of The Band and the Stanley Brothers.
Myra and Elisa live in the Hudson River Valley of NY and perform regularly along the East Coast in restaurants, coffeehouses, lounges, festivals and songwriter showcases. They are currently recording their second album.
