Discography
I have 2 independently produced CD's
(2002) Beneath the Skin -- featuring 6 original songs, 2 originals of Steve Rathje re-written/arranged by me with permission from my dad. 1 original from Robin Dale Ford. And 1 cover of Hanky Panky
This was a fun project because I had 2 producers and 12 other musicians that added to the project so it has a full sound and lots of musical variety. This cd got a lot of local airplay when it first came out and every once in a while I still hear a song played on the university station or the local public radio station. I had a baby right after it came out, so I never pursued sending it out or promoting it. Currently I'm working on a country album.
(1996)
Howl at the Moon -- featuring 9 original acoustic songs:
Howl At the Moon, Under the Sun, Biker Chic, A Good Friend, My Father's Guitar, Belly Dancer, This House is On Fire, I Should Have Left When I Woke Up (An Alaskan Love Story) & Pilot
I sing and Play guitar on all and a friend Matt Saradet plays lead on most of the songs with me.

Bio
I have been writing songs since I was 7 years old and they come from a place deep inside. I have an MFA in poetry and I think this helps my song writing. The first time I sang one of my original songs on stage at an open mic night, the audience responded so great that I was hooked. I've spent the last 12 years singing and playing guitar at local clubs and festivals, and last year I finally played with a band at our arena--opening for Little Big Town. It was so amazing singing my songs to such a huge crowd. People were so excited and encouraging...so I think it's time to get them out of Fairbanks, Alaska and to the rest of the country. I think people respond to my songs because they are honestly written and performed with love and passion. When you write a good song and sing it right, and people get it and want to hear it again or buy it...there's no better feeling...that connection through music is what it's all about.
