"Conifer Mountain Music Festival"

To whom it may concern,

It has been my sincere pleasure to know Paul McDaniel and the Angus Mohr band this year. I was so impressed the first time I saw them perform that I knew at that time I wanted them to entertain at an event I have been working with for the past eight years. My event, formerly known as Conifair, is known as the Conifer Mountain Music Festival.
We put Angus Mohr in the mix with POCO, Firefall, Wendy Woo, The Rail Benders and several other headliner bands for the Music Festival. From the beginning, Angus Mohr took control of the stage and “WOWed” the audience. Not only were they entertaining, but they played to a wide cross section of ages that were in attendance.
This year we estimated our crowd to be around 3500 with a very positive reaction from the attendees. Next year we anticipate between 5000 and 6000 people for our event. The reason I mention this is that certain acts bring in the crowds. Angus Mohr is certainly one of those groups.
If you are on the fence about whom you should invite to your event, take my word for this, “Book Angus Mohr NOW” before someone else does. Angus Mohr is worth your consideration. I will have them back for my event as we are already making plans for next year. Angus Mohr is a crowd pleaser for all festivals. They are great to work with and certainly play well to the audience.
Should you have any questions about this group, don’t hesitate to ask.

Sincerely,

Steve Gallup

Bio

Angus Mohr, the Celtic Rock and Roll Band from the Highlands of Colorado, always gives a powerful and emotionally charged performance. This four piece band combines the ethereal sound of traditional Celtic instruments with the power of American Rock and Roll.

Angus Mohr’s approach to their genre is unique in that they have incorporated Highland Bagpipes and Irish Pennywhistles into a traditional Rock and Roll soundscape. This evolutionary process was quite natural as Angus Mohr’s piper was an accomplished competition traditional piper when he started playing keyboard, guitar and saxophone in a Rock and Roll band. When the bagpipes were used as a change of pace in rock n’ roll shows the response was so overwhelmingly positive it became obvious that Celtic Rock and Roll was the next logical step. Thus Angus Mohr came into being.

An Angus Mohr performance will include centuries old Celtic tunes as well as modern Rock and Roll songs that are adapted to Celtic instrumentation. Angus Mohr also writes original music that incorporates stylistic elements of both genres. The musical result is an exciting and rousing musical blend that results in high caliber entertainment and unequaled audience response.

Angus Mohr's influences include Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, The Rolling Stones, Dropkick Murphys, Flogging Molly, and Seven Nations.

When Angus Mohr comes around, make sure to take the opportunity to see and hear this powerful and entertaining Celtic Rock and Roll Band.
