Phoenix Down

Phoenix down - a potion in Final Fantasy that will bring you back to life. There's no better name for this band, as they have lived through many dismemberments, and risen again out of the ashes, like the legendary bird thingie. We don't know how many drummers we went through until we found Yates, the perfect fit both in person and in music! Similarly, finding a bass-player who meshes with all of our personalities well enough, was tough until we found one hiding right inside Eric, the lead vocalist and co-founder. Tobin's jazz-spiced-but-still-pure-rock guitar tunes carried us from its birth (2002) until he met Chuck's hybrid spacey-but-grounded, rythm-and-lead, catchy-yet-otherwordly style through a side-project. By 2007, Tobin and Chuck had fused their guitar styles together so well, that it became apparent that they had found an addition for the band! The three years that followed took them through a lot of work on improving their live-shows, and creating their first full-length album titled "Live Forever". This work represents our outlook on the future. We've built a relationship with each other that can easily hold strong through anything the universe can throw at us. Like the phoenix greek-bird-thing, we will rise out of any ashes, to entertain your faces off, using our music!
