...he'd hammer in the morning, all over this land -
Older listeners think Scott Williams is a fine young man performing classical music they can't place. Younger audiences find the harplike sounds of his hammered dulcimer a curiosity, until they recognize the strains of Metallica's 'Nothing Else Matters.'
"It's fun to take a rock song and transform it into medieval style," said Williams, 33. "People look around and think, 'Is this what I think it is?' " - The San Diego Tribune

He performs throughout Los Angeles, Orange County, San Diego, Central and Northern California, and Las Vegas. His venues include Downtown Disney, concerts, corporate events, Renaissance and Celtic festivals, schools, and libraries.
As a multi-instrumentalist, Scott records the guitar, cello, bass, percussion, mountain dulcimer, mandolin, and synthesizer to create the foundation of his music. He then performs live on the hammered dulcimer with a recorded backing track. The combined mix offers a full-ensemble presentation.
