You can forget what youve heard about any of these trendy new guitarist/drummer duos such as The White Stripes, The Raveonettes and The Black Keys. Theres a new twosome in town known as The Karlz. And these two veteran musicians are guaranteed to raise the roof off your club or next event.

The Karlz consist of vocalist/guitarist Karl Bowie and drummer Carl Corella. One of the duos primary goals is not to win anyone over with their own material (which they certainly have plenty of), but rather instead to play rousing, energetic cover versions of songs both old and new that appeal to a vast audience.

Between the two, theyve not only earned a Masters Degree in Music but over the last decade have toured around the world and played with the likes of The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Beck and The Flaming Lips.
