Bio
Civil Hades have a solid sound that comes from years of playing and practicing. They have a loyal, growing following of fans because they always deliver a show worth going to. Strong sound and awesome songs pack the house every time.
Dimitri started playing drums at age 7 and guitar at age 12. He and Tim have been friends since childhood. They began their first band in grade school, and started Civil Hades in 2010. His music has influences from Metallica, Breaking Benjamin, System of a Down, Korn, and The Greatest American Hero! (1981, awesome show, epic). He is inspired by Ben Burnley and Marco Sfogli. Dimitri has a great voice and amazing talent for choosing and writing songs that suit the band's sound.
Tim Anger started playing bass in 2006. He and Dimitri have been friends since childhood. They began a band, Lost in the Dark, in grade school playing Metallica and System of a Down covers. He eventually started Civil Hades with Dimitri and Cid. His music is influenced by Metallica, System of a Down, Dream Theatre, Cannibal Corpse, Slayer, and he takes his inspiration from Cliff Burton, Alex Webster and John Myung. All contributing to the unique sound Tim produces.
Cid Carlo Segovia started playing guitar at 13. After moving to Canada in 2005 he continued to play, carrying the influence of his Philippine inspiration, Sherwin Go. He met Dimitri at school, in music class. From there they began to meet up and gather musical ideas and influences from each other. Cid takes inspiration from Classical and Japanese composers for guitar ideas when writing for Civil Hades, helping to give them that modern, yet timeless sound that appeals to many different musical tastes.
Andrew Started playing drums at 13. He and Tim have been friends and cousins all their lives, He joined Civil Hades June 2010 after their current drummer was unavailable. His music tastes include Shannon Lucas, Blake Richardson, George Kolias, Back Dahlia Murder, System of a Down. When not playing with the band, Andrew likes computers, video games and hanging with friends.
