"Verizon APAHM Tour Lights Up The Big Apple"

Los Angeles native and vixen Viennie V followed as the first musical act to take the stage, kicking off the night with a few upbeat tracks and a medley of some of today’s hits. Her energetic backup dancers helped her pump up the crowd with a special performance to “Party Rock Anthem” by LMFAO. (Mad props to the singer for doing the shuffle in high heels.) - MTV

"Viennie V: Unique blend of intense pop lyrics over catchy dance beats"

Coming to the stage next was Viennie V. This Asian American pop artist from L.A., belted a unique blend of intense pop lyrics over catchy dance beats that was sure to get anyone up and moving. As an impressive vocal performer, Viennie wowed the crowd with songs like For you, Remember Me, Could this be Love, and rocked the house with a party mash-up that included songs from Maroon 5 , Rihanna, LMFAO and Far East Movement. - Hello KPop

"Bubbling Under"

Pop singer/songwriter Viennie V draws her first Billboard chart ink as "How Could You" (Aurora) enters Adult Contemporary at No. 30. With 250,00 YouTube views since its December posting, the melodic ballad continues her viral buzz, with her official YouTube channel boasting more than 4.5 million clicks. - Billboard Magazine

"Pop darling Viennie V opens for Jay Park"

The SoCal based artist showed off her pipes with an impressive set that included all the songs off of her EP For You and covered radio hits from Maroon 5's “Moves Like Jagger” to Far East Movement’s “Like A G6?. From her strong vocal performance, no one even considered the fact that this was the latter end of a back-to-back show having just performed in D.C. the night before. - FoundAsians.com

"Lady Gaga's influence on young fans is beginning to bear fruit"

Witness the coming of very young, very cute, and very sweet Viennie V. She is dropping a track so full of sugary goodness you'll never be able to have Lucky Charms for breakfast again. - GoRadio.com

"Exclusive Interview: Rising Pop Star Sensation Viennie V"

Not too long ago, I received an email about a new Asian American recording artist, Viennie V. I listened to Viennie V’s debut album, Nightmare or Dream, and watched a few of her videos. I quickly discovered the Southern California singer/songwriter has everything it takes to make it to the top of the charts. I also knew I had to interview the rising pop star ASAP.

My interview with Viennie V below.

Paulette: Did you expect your debut single, Nightmare or Dream, to quickly garner 1 million YouTube views in 48 hours?

Viennie V: Not at all. I guess a lot of people really liked the video because of the vampires. But seriously, it was a pleasant surprise. I am very grateful that so many people were able to see it, including the outpouring of support I received from fans... - One Asian World

"Viennie V - This geek’s come good"

Hollywood teen drama writers, take note: it only takes three minutes to tell a wholesome ugly-duckling-comes-good story. This corny clip comes from self-described Asian-American Southern Californian lass Viennie V – who curiously also has a clip taking out number eight on this week’s poll. Talk about popular – this geek’s come good. - Music Vid Kid

"Viennie V Takes Over YouTube"

Although Viennie V released her first album Nightmare or Dream in September 2011, she already has something in common with pop sensation Justin Bieber: they both got their start by gaining attention on YouTube. The Los Angeles singer has quickly become viral (she became the number one musician on YouTube just a week after she premiered her first video). Viennie V names artists who like to push the envelope, such as Lady Gaga and Rihanna, as her musical influences.

The rising star has recently released her third music video “For You,” which details her mortifying, yet amusing dating life. After a series of bad dates Viennie finally finds her dream man after “wishing on a falling star” as she fittingly watches a shooting star whisk by at the end of her perfect date.

“For You” was not Viennie’s first attempt at humor. She originally caught attention with her song “Nightmare or Dream,” a parody on the recent vampire craze, and followed her success with her second video “Thinking of You,” which details Viennie’s own take on Britney Spear’s “Baby One More Time” video.

Whether you like her music or not, the pop singer seems to be on to something—both videos gained over a million views and were in the top ten most viewed music videos on YouTube less than a week after launching. Check her latest video out here and see what all the buzz is about. - Mochi Magazine

"Viennie V a new breed?"

“Nightmare or Dream, has been one of the most-watched on YouTube for a couple of days now… I particularly thought the image of V writhing around in a morgue locker was original and interesting… The tune is catchy.“ - Music and Mayhem
