"Mixtape Magazine EP Release Announcement"

“fast, choppy riffs backed with seams of unpretentious emotion...This Ship’s pensive indie-pop has been swelling hearts and minds.” - Mixtape Magazine

"Debut Album Release!"

“Sprawling sound… it moves from a quietly pensive intro to upbeat pop rock and continues to swell.” - Excaim!

""This Ship Stars Quality""

"Since forming in 2011, Halifax-based indie group This Ship has been increasingly gaining speed and turning heads. One reason for this could be the band's kitchen sink approach, where tambourine breakdowns, gang singing, handclaps, keytar solos, heavy riffs and dance beats offer a little something for everyone" - The Coast

""This Ship Ready To Rock The Rainbow""

"Keeping things dynamic with clean-cut guitar riffs unfurling from their upbeat pop rock sound... Teetering between contemplative melancholy and upbeat sweetness, they approach the world with Arcade Fire gusto." - Couch Assasin

""An Un-Sinkable Ship""

"Just when everyone thought the night couldn’t possibly get anymore wild, This Ship turned on their amps and kicked the proverbial door off its hinges"
"grunge-meets- Arcade Fire....textural and lively"
"With punk rock sounds one minute, they flawlessly switch gears in to more of an “indie” sound the next" - GUFF Magazine

"Show Review"

This Ship brought mega energy to the stage in the form of sing alongs, clap alongs, tamborines, and keytars. The peppy, start and stop indie tunes got the crowd on their feet, and the band delivered everything you could ask for from an entertaining band. - Noisography Blog (voted CBC's top 30 music blogs in Canada!)

"The Coast Review"

“This Ship might be the heaviest east coast band to wield synth keytar. But the lighthearted bunch gets serious in a heartbeat, just as quickly as a melodious Ship verse shifts into chorus roar.” - The Coast
