The purpose of this association is to support, encourage and promote the development of all forms of Catholic oriented Christian music and video. This includes: Liturgical, Praise and Worship, Contemporary and Instrumental Compositions. Catholic oriented music and video productions have grown and become diversified throughout the years, but their purpose and intention has remained consistent and focused on "Keeping the Faith Alive" and spreading God's message of Unity, Love and Evangelization. It’s official! SHARMANE has kicked off her new middle school and high school assembly programs! SHARMANE is excited about introducing these new programs to the youth market. The Middle School Program is titled “Stuck in the Middle”. The High School Program is actually an extension of her new High School Youth Workshop titled, “Find Me! Cleanse Me! Take Me There!” Each program is a journey of spiritual self-discovery that combines the Catechism of the Catholic Church with illustrative examples of application in everyday life. These presentations will help the students get to the heart of “who they are” and “how to become” the “whole” person that God intended them to be. "What the talent buyers say..."

"Our students were excited and enthusiastic about your message and presentation. You touched their hearts as you identified with them...You place God first in your life...you are a positive role model for them and a beautiful minister of God's word."
William Hund, Principal of Most Pure Heart of Mary, Topeka, KS

"She has brought this place alive! She has so much energy. The teens started singing, moving and worshippping God...you couldn't ask for more than that!" Mary Fritz, Youth Rally, Gulf Breeze, FL

"It was exciting to have SHARMANE lead our school assembly. She has a way to engage kids...and allow them to let go and feel confident about praising God in a way they never have before." Karen Arras, All Saints School, Tulsa, OK

"The feedback from the audience was incredible. They participated in many of the songs and refused to let her off the stage." Debbie Tracy, Organizer of Angel's Garden Show, Pensacola, FL

"The retreat was wonderful! The teens thoroughly connected with you. I personally received your presentation as listening to “someone that was filled with the Holy Spirit” and at the same time can relate to teenagers without judgment. You are so needed in our society as very few adults can do this."
Margaret Touchstone, Senior HS Retreat, Greenville, MS

“Thank you again for speaking to the high school youth at our retreat. Your message was well received and the youth enjoyed your music and interaction. One youth stated on the retreat evaluation under “How could we have made this retreat better?” “MORE SHARMANE” You are truly a blessing to all youth.” Linda Allen, Youth Director Mary Esther, FL

"The students were extremely receptive to your message, especially considering the timing – the last hour before Spring Break was quite a feat to accomplish. You also were able to get them to participate- something we struggle with at Masses. You truly use your vivaciousness and beautiful voice to help young people realize they too can develop their God-given talents to the fullest. This is such a beautiful form of prayer." Sue Rauch, HS Principal, Melbourne, FL

"With her radiant smile and engaging soprano tone, Sharmane invites you to stop, take a deep breath, and simply be in the presence of the One who made heaven and earth!" Heather Welch
Midwest Catholic Family Conference, Diocese of Wichita, KS

“Just as moving as her music, Sharmane's witness to her faith touched the hearts of those who attended the concert. She gave all of us encouragement and inspiration.” Father Tom Elliott, Christ the King Catholic Church, Fort Smith, AR

"Sharmane, in her ministry, has many dear songs that touch people in their heart and in the depths of their being. Her presentation brings them closer to God, and I think God closer to them." Monsignor Michael Reed, Chancellor of Pensacola-Tallahasee Diocese, FL

"What the students say..."

“Hi Sharmane my name is Lauren and you performed at my school on Friday afternoon! YOU HAVE INSPIRED ME SO MUCH! You have inspired God is in my life wayyy more than he was these past years of my life. So I just wanted to thank you for opening my eyes to the life of God.”

Hi- I was a student at Holy Ghost Catholic school. You are so right about everything. I always try to fit because I am scared to be anyone else. It is so much easier to act like someone you’re not because of your friends. When some of your friends you think are real ones they are just trying to use you. Anna, Student

“Hi My name is Jamie. You recently did the assembly and talk at my school. I love what u do. I think it is awesome! And I was stuck in the middle with my friends, they hurt me in the inside but I did not know if they were my real friends but it turns out it was a big mistake and now we are the best of friends and last year I pretended I was someone I wasnt and you helped me out so much thanks."

I was amazed of how beautiful you sing and you really taught me how to follow Gods path and not to go after what other people think of me. I am me and no one can change me. Matt, Student

Bio

If you stop for a minute to talk with contemporary performing artist, SHARMANE, you will find very quickly that you are drawn to her abundant energy and infectious spirit. Her love for life, and her faith, is both contagious and welcoming.

SHARMANE (Adams) grew up as a child who traveled the globe. She was exposed to numerous cultures and openly admits that she was blessed with many of the material privileges that only some can imagine. But, as she grew into her adult life and was confronted with numerous challenges, she felt a yearning to grow deeper and more spiritual in her life journey. Although she was rooted in a Catholic upbringing, it wasn’t until she attended a parish mission that she truly converted from being Catholic to being CATHOLIC-living her life on-fire for her faith! As SHARMANE embraced this new direction for her life she also quickly realized that music and ministry would be a significant aspect of this conversion experience. Although she had been singing her entire life, (from performing in pageants to serving as a cantor at her local parish), the renewal of her faith took her music and songwriting in a whole new direction.

In 2002, SHARMANE released her debut album titled, PRAYERFUL HEARTS. This CD was not your typical “contemporary Christian” recording project that many artists create as their first-ever CD. The project was delightfully aimed at children with its musical retelling of the classic prayers of the Catholic faith. SHARMANE took her commitment to this project one step further, however, and made it so that proceeds from the project would be contributed to Our Lady of Clear Creek Monastery (a Benedictine Monastery in Oklahoma). This CD ultimately reached the Top 10 on numerous Catholic music sales charts which inspired others to ask SHARMANE for more of her music. But it wasn’t until she made a long distance move with her family, battled a life threatening illness, and started a new business venture with her husband did she release her sophomore CD, self-titled SHARMANE.

SHARMANE (the CD) was inspired by the notion of simplifying life through prayer and song. As a wife and mother, SHARMANE understands how life can become so busy that we lose touch with our own inner peace. This CD captures that essence and gently brings the listener back to a place of solemnity and calm. The lyrics are uplifting and stylistically the music is diverse, but the constant theme throughout is about settling down and absorbing a sense of peace and grace.

In 2007 SHARMANE recorded her single titled I SURRENDER. The song was actually written for a friend whose son was battling a very serious illness. SHARMANE says she was praying on ways she could help her friend through this difficult time and that God brought her the song and told her one of the best ways to bring comfort to her friend was through music. I SURRENDER was released to radio through Christian Radio & Retail Weekly. Radio embraced the song and it appeared in the Top 10 on the I-Chart for over 10 weeks! The song hit the number 1 spots on KBCU Radio Top 10 at 10 with Rockin Ron, and the IndieHeaven Fan Favs Chart. It also received airplay on the EWTN Global Radio Network. I SURRENDER was recognized at the 2008 UNITY AWARDS as DEVOTIONAL SONG OF THE YEAR and was also a SONG OF THE YEAR final nominee at the 2008 KCCM Awards and the 2008 Unity Awards. In addition to the single release, SHARMANE created an Impact Project to tie in with the song. Proceeds from every download would be donated to St. Jude Children's Hospital in an effort to raise monies for children's cancer research.

The music of SHARMANE has inspired listeners worldwide with thanks to radio (especially EWTN Worldwide Radio Network and Sirius satellite radio). She’s been featured in several magazines and newspapers and has been interviewed for various websites and pod casts. Recently she was invited to perform as the featured artist on the EWTN television program, Backstage. In 2008, SHARMANE was recognized as FEMALE VOCALIST OF THE YEAR at the KCCM Awards held annually in the Kansas City area recognizing the achievements of artists from all faith backgrounds and musical styles.

In 2008-SHARMANE recognized a void in the youth market for an "upbeat" female speaker/performing artist-especially with middle school and high school aged students. She created an outstanding interactive workshop for High School teens titled FIND ME, CLEANSE ME, TAKE ME THERE which focuses on the heart of who you really are and where God desires you to be. An offshoot of that program called STUCK IN THE MIDDLE was later created to address the same topic but appropriately created for Middle School students. Today SHARMANE presents these workshops at school assemblies, youth conferences, and rallies all throughout the United States.

Through her experience with these youth programs SHARMANE started taking on a new writing direction for her music. In 2009, she releases her third CD p
