Bio
Born and raised in Philadelphia Pa. to the parents of Don and Dolores Patterson, who both were musicians.
Father Don Patterson was a world renown recording Jazz Organist. With over 28 albums recorded along side of the likes of, Sonny Stitt, Grant Green, Pat Martino, Booker Ervin, Blue Mitchell, Wes Montgomery, Albert Tootie Heath, and host of other stellar jazz artists.
Coming from a family of great musicality, Deveron decided that it was the music of Gospel that he wanted to pursue particularly.
He began as the church pianist for the Holy Trinity Church of Apostolic Faith at the age of 7yrs old where he got his very first start, the Christ Memorial Baptist Church of Phila and numerous other ministries followed.
Deveron also began singing with the Boys Choir of Philadelphia Pa., the Pennsylvania District State Mass Choir and many others. It was there where he developed as a leader and arranger under the guidance of music instructor Dr. Dorina Morrow.
Recently, come off a summer tour in France accompanying Carol Frazier and New Spirit. Opening up for artists such as jazz great Dianne Reeves.
