Tennessee Tina

Tennessee Tina embodies all the things we think of when we hear the word “Memphis”: Raw, soulful, and trendsetting. She bends and breaks the boundaries of punk, rock and soul while infusing each with her organic Singer/Songwriter and Americana sensibilities. She carries with her the vibe of some of her favorite artists such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Michael Jackson, and of course “The King” himself, Elvis Presley (whose birthday she shares, by the way!).

Having paid her dues by playing to coffee houses, warehouse parties and the open mic circuits, Tennessee Tina now brings her southern flavor to her new, adoptive hometown of San Diego. Armed with nothing but her guitar and her distinctive style, she declares war on all that is “cookie cutter” in the music world.

Using her personal experiences in love, loss and forgiveness as her muse, Tina is currently writing her first EP. In the meantime, you can catch her performing her acoustic set, “The New Sound Of Americana”, at local venues throughout Southern California.
