Biography
BILL GRADY doesn’t focus on awards, so if you are looking for a beauty contestant he is definitely not your guy.  However, students from high schools and colleges across the nation are heaping praise on his music and his live performances. As Kyle Giller at SUNY Binghamton said, “We could all take a page from Bill's book and learn what a real singer/songwriter is meant to sound like."  Bill has been featured on BBC Radio and has toured in the UK, getting to play at London’s prestigous ‘Lark In The Park’.  Back home, he has graced the stages of many of New York City’s legendary clubs including CBGB’s, The Living Room, Pianos, Kenny’s Castaways, and The National Underground.  He has been interviewed on XM radio, and has recorded at the world famous and now sadly closed recording studio, The Hit Factory.  His debut album, “A Room Called Home” has been called, “a minor miracle.”  But the center of the Bill Grady experience is to hear him play live.  Whether playing solo, armed with nothing but a piano or a guitar, or with the meaty beat of a badass rhythm section behind him, Bill makes music on his own terms, ignoring strict genre rules to create a unique sonic experience.
