Daniel Conti and Drawing Back are a highly talented trio of professional artists with a wonderful nostalgic sound that is primarily guitar based, having heavy blues and classic rock influences. This up and coming band, is rocking the Texas music scene from the beautiful Hill Country town of Marble Falls.
Daniel Conti, 19, and his band , Drawing Back enjoy a constantly growing following, performing all around Austin and the surrounding areas! The award-winning group is tearing up Austin's famous 6th street ! Daniel Conti has just returned from Canada,where he has teamed up with Frank Marino to finish his debut album! Frank Marino has fronted the band Mahogany Rush since the 1970's and has been a strong influence in Daniel's guitar playing.Frank is helping produce the album,"Strange Beauty" as well as mixing and mastering it.We are all excited about the release!

Drawing Back was formed in Marble Falls in 2004.
Daniel Conti is the group’s lead guitarist and vocalist. Daniel cites Frank Marino, Jimi Hendrix, Robin Trower, and Texas legend Stevie Ray Vaughan as his biggest influences. He has a long list of blues players and rockers that have shaped his style: Otis Rush, Buddy Miles, Kim Simmonds, Roy Buchannon, Eric Clapton, Freddy King, Howlin’ Wolf, Muddy Waters, Albert Collins, Carlos Santana, B.B. King and Alan Haynes, among others.

What Goes Around, Comes Around is an Early Preview (“EP”) CD with five songs.Done when he was 16 years old,with 2 other 16 year olds, Daniel Conti covers Voodoo Chile and Homework,along with original compositions. When you listen to it, you will feel as though you have been transported back in time, to a smoky old blues club that is so hot it’s cool! Daniel Conti and Drawing Back Live From Austin's Sixth street is a demo Daniel put together to update his press kit before he went to Memphis for 2008 The international blues Challenge
Daniel is currently recording his debut album.
