Originally from a remote town in Montana, this NYC based musician has not only been making a name for herself as an award winning songwriter, but she also starred in the cult hit movie, Murder Party. Her cinematic and theatrical background shines throughout her music, layering each story with it’s own soundtrack. She has been compared to a baffling variety of artists including Tom Waits, Jenny Lewis, Stevie Nicks, Paul McCartney and even Bob Dylan. Despite the comparisons, Stacy has a truly unique voice as a singer and as a writer, both original and reminiscent of the vinyl era. Gabriel Levitt of Brooklyn’s Jezebel Music wrote that her live performances are “unequivocally enchanting”.

Stacy grew up in a remote part of north-eastern Montana where she studied classical piano. She experimented in Blues, Bluegrass and Rock and Roll bands while attending college, then moved to NYC where she became the resident piano bar player at the famous Monkey Bar in Midtown. She left that job to record her first full length album, One Way Home, released to rave reviews. The debut album has been played on radio stations across the country and was listed as one of the best "under the radar" independent releases of 2006.

Stacy's song "Anne" was chosen for the SonicBids Listen Up Compilation Volume 3 and recently played on NPR.  She was selected as a songwriter for the famed Sunday Writer's Night at the Blue Bird Cafe in Nashville, TN and has had music placement in independent films.  She filled a principal acting role in the independent film, Murder Party, which won several awards at film festivals and was recently released internationally by Magnolia Pictures. The groovy culture blog Medialysis voted Stacy on of the two Funniest Femme of 2007 (the other being Amy Poehler) for her role in Murder Party.
