Biography
LYNX, an innovative singer songwriter originally from Colorado and now San Francisco California has been playing music and performing since the age of 7. Currently at the age of 23, she has been breaking new ground on both the live and electronic music scenes.
LYNX's Music combines elements of folk, Hip-hop and electronica. She is just as at home playing her guitar and singing in as she is MCing and beat-boxing with some of the hottest DJs around. Her most recent project is playing electro-acoustic duets with hammer-dulcimer innovator Jamie Janover.
LYNX's music has a message behind it all that deals with world issues today including climate change and social justice.
She has already spread her style of folktronica and live looping technology from British Columbia to So-Cal, the Colorado Rockies to Hawaii. She has jammed with and opened for acts like RAHZEL, THE STRING CHEESE INCIDENT, BASSNECTAR, RUSTED ROOT, MATISYAHU and more.
LYNX has performed at events such as The High Sierra Music Festival, 10,000 Lakes Festival, Shambhala, Sonic Bloom, Earthdance, Floyd Fest, Joshua Tree, Lightning in a Bottle, Burning Man, and many more!
With her debut release ‘Grain of Sand’ and a packed touring schedule, LYNX is destined to reach the ears and hearts of music lovers’ world wide.
