THE ISSUES
Three guys that sound like ten, for the enjoyment of Millions!
Based out of Atlanta Georgia, the ISSUES are an unalduterated hard pop/rock band whose influences include The Beatles, Green Day, Lit, Iggy Pop & MXPX. The band has earned a well known reputation for it’s bombastic live performances and songwriting abilities.
Breaking News! The ISSUES sign with Tree Sound Studios' indie label "Tree Leaf Music". The band is in good company. Tree Sound is Atlanta's longest running major lable studio. Artists from Aerosmith to Avril Lavigne to Outkast are regulars in its studios! The band will be working with producer Russ T Cobb and plans for a summer release are underway!
Summer 2008, the ISSUES released their new EP, "Alien Tattooed Lover." The band worked with producer John Briglevich (Sevendust, Bowling for Soup, Butch Walker, Edwin McCain, The Honeyrods, Third Day) at his Sonica Studios in Atlanta, GA. This independent release received strong regional, and some national airplay and reviews were very positve. The ISSUES are currently touring the Southeast in support of the EP. The ISSUES ran a four month national record promotion for their new EP "Alien Tattooed Lover." The band hired promoter Randy Sadd at Protocol Entertainment to spearhead the campaign. Randy has worked records for numerous acts including Butch Walker, Shawn Mullins, Josh Joplin, Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland, Rehab, Cowboy Mouth & the Outfiled.
With a catalog of more than 50 original songs, the ISSUES recently signed on with Noteborn Music in Ann Arbor, MI to provide music for TV, film and national advertising campaigns. The band has also agreed to license its music to Ocean Way studios in Nashville, TN for Ocean Way's indie film's dept.
To date, the ISSUES members have garnered both professional and critical recognition. Notable accomplishments include: self-generated airplay in numerous markets, rotation on XM Satellite Radio, featured band on XM’s Radar Report, Top 500 in Billboard Magazine’s Annual Song Writing Contest, licensed music for TV, film and national advertising, featured on numerous compilation CD’s.
