Artist Information Biography Owen Stevenson and Corey Frye have fronted this band for over 2 years now.  Stevenson began the band 7 years ago, and transformed it into the Soul Rock/R&B group that it is today when he came to Bloomington Indiana and the prestigious Indiana University Jacobs School of Music.  True Story played local gigs around the campus to gain exposure, and has now played from Washington D.C. and New York City, all the way out to Phoenix Arizona.  Showcased in early 2008 at the Millenium Music Conference, the group released its debut self-titled album in April 2008.  in January 2009, Bassist Eugene McGhee began working with Stevenson in more of a Music Director role, and the group is rolling along ready for a big year.
