Biography
Grammy-nominated Dr. Mike Bogle has honed his jazz skills in a number of groups from Miami to Dallas/Ft. Worth to Minneapolis/Saint Paul. He has paid his dues and played with some heavy players from Jaco Pastorius to Ira Sullivan to Slide Hampton, in addition to playing shows for Tom Jones, Burt Bacharach, Diana Ross, and Doc Severinsen--currently serves as musical director/arranger for Irene Cara (Flashdance "What A Feeling")
Instrumentation
Mike Bogle, leader (piano/vocal); Michael Lewis, saxophone; James Buckley, bass; J.T. Bates, drums; and sometimes a guest artist.
Discography
Other Life (1994) and Eternal Family (2004) have both received considerable radio airplay and are available on iTunes. Eternal Family reached #28 on the JazzWeek jazz charts based on radio airplay.
