Biography
Lauren Hess was a drumming, riot-grrl punk-rock historian, Natalie Gordon was painting the walls in a record store. Somewhere in between the lines, they were introduced and it was love at first sight.
In 2007 the Sacramento based duo toured through Austin, TX and played legendary circus-themed divebar, The Carousel Lounge. It was there they met convulsive electric violinist Naomi Cherie, but it wasn't until January of 2009 that she joined the band--long distance, exchanging cassette tapes in the mail and flying out for practices and tours.
In the past year, the band has performed over 150 shows in dozens of cities all over the US, France, Spain and Portugal appearing with regional favorites and international legends alike.
