Biography
As a little girl, Dava Krause would entertain her mother by performing impressions of family and friends while they cooked dinner. Wanting to broaden her audience past the kitchen, Dava threw herself into high school theatre.

While earning her B.S in Theatre at Northwestern University, Dava became a talented improviser and graduated from The Second City Conservatory and The Improv Olympic Training Center in downtown Chicago. By her senior year Dava was performing regularly in numerous improvisation and sketch “teams” throughout the city.
Since moving to Los Angeles, Dava has traveled all over the country in clubs, colleges and festivals performing over an hour of original material including one liners, stories from her real life situations and a dozen original songs. Her self-deprecating and authentic style allows her to take risks and expose the truth in comedy.

In Los Angeles, Dava is a regular at The Hollywood Improv, The Ice House Annex in Pasadena and is a regular on Tom Arnold's "All Stars" at The Laugh Factory. She is also an accomplished comedic writer and is one of the youngest comedians to have her jokes published in “She’s So Funny” by Judy Brown. She has written several specs, an original pilot and two original Web Series.
The first series, “My Roommate’s Boyfriend” was produced by Comedytime.tv  and can be viewed on youtube.com or her website. The second series can be viewed at www.inappropriatefairytales.tv and was featured in the Independent Television Festival 2009.
Dava wrote the theme song to the pilot, “Women’s Work,” which can be heard along with over a dozen of her original songs on XM Satellite’s National Lampoon Radio.
In addition to appearing on HOUSE MD on FOX, Dava was a featured  “Comedian of the Month” on JLTV, America's first nationally broadcast, 24/7 Jewish Themed Network. Broadcasting on Direct TV Channel 336 and live on the web!

She was also featured in The Westside Stand-up Festival 2009 held at the Mission Impossible Westside Theatre.

Dava is also a national voice over artist represented by Daniel Hoff Agency in Los Angeles. Her voice can be heard on videogames, television and radio commercials nationwide.
Dava just signed a distribution deal with New Wave Dynamic and her first live album will drop in early 2010.
