Artist Information Biography Marsha DuPree - has always been a performer, even in the early years, during family and community gathering – she was always on stage! As a way to keep her performance skills "in tune"– Marsha entered pageants; Miss Atlanta, Miss Black Atlanta, Georgia's Queen of Posture, Yellow Daisy Festival – and along the way crossed paths with many music notables like the Freddie Cole Trio who was playing a function she was attending. She politely walked to the stage, grabbed a mic and started to sing - the trio reluctantly followed her lead but it would be the first of many times she would sing her first jazz song - Summertime. Marsha she has traveled as far as the West Coast to perform at Harvey’s Casino & Resort, Lake Tahoe with the Atlanta based girl group - Eclipse and on the East Coast, to places like the prestigious Greenbriar Resort in White Sulfur Springs, West, Virginia and many more. She loves to perform all types of music whether written by the master songwriters like Johnny Mercer and Harold Arlen or performed by popular artist today like Celine Dion or Chaka Kahn. You can find Marsha currently performing for Atlanta’s corporate community, local & regional festivals, weddings and private parties.
