Artist Information Biography Music has been important to nurturing my Faith and raising my Daughters. The turning point was the 700 Club Songwriter's seminars in '93 & '94. The classes were great but the talent at the late night Song-Circles were just this side of Heaven. Those are moments I'll cherish forever. Classes by Rich Mullins, Babbie Mason, Dick & Mel Tunney,Tom Jackson, Chuck Sugar,& I could go on. and the positive influences of Pat Robertson, and The Regent University. Steve Green in '94 I had Fun at the Estes Park Colorado GMA in 2000, And GMA week In Nashville in 2002. I'm currently the President of the Minnesota Association of Christian Songwriters. Discography My 1st published work was 100 copies an EP on Cassette Tape Feb '95 with Twinfinity songs, The New Wine, Take Care of My Little Girl, Footprints, & Song of the Bridegroom. October '95 (c)1995 my 1st album was released "Momentum" CDs were delayed by Zomax until Dec.6 '95. The Band formed shortly thereafter. 1999 Mike spent a couple months at Angel Beach studio surrounded by the talent of Bruce Kyser, Brad Heck , Tony Hernandez, Blake Anderson, Mike's uncle Marty Heilman, J.D. Steele, & Marc Ziegenhausen. Resulting in " Beyond The Edge of Time " (c) 1999 After 2 Mission trips to Ghana Africa as a volunteer teacher, I released my 3 rd album to include songs I liked to perform but yet unreleased along with the Background tracks from " Momentum " resulting in " Rockin' Gems Rarities 2007 " ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've also published the " Plenty of Music " compilation CD for the MACS group 2002 & 2009 Cross-Section for MACS compilation # 2 including 6 Artists from a Sonicbids Contest Also on CD are the KFAI MACS Spotlight on the Wave Project which Mike hosted 1/21 2007 And the Golden Star FM Interview of Mike in Swedru Ghana Africa from August of 2006. One of my Favorite works is of a class I taught 5th Graders at Kenwood School (Mpls) in 2003. " The Riversongs " collaboration is what we shared after 2 weeks of short instruction and recording the Fun the Kids were having at the Time. Links
