Biography
He is the only African singer in Japan who is rocking the island with African pops at the moment. In Tanzania and east africa, everyone knows about him and his own style of music. He got lots of hit numbers in Tanzania including 'TUHIFADHI MAZINGIRA' (Let's protect environment), 'PENZI NI KIKOHOZI', 'PAMELA' 'KONJESTA', 'AMA ZAKE AMA ZANGU' & 'WE CAN DO IT' and more. His band 'The Tanzanites Band' is the most popular band Amongst African pop bands in Japan. He sing in swahili (Tanzanian language) and he is very much influenced by people like Angeligue Kidjo, Youssou Ndour and Richard Bona. They made him think and decide to change his music style from typical Tanzanian rumba, to the style he is doing now which he beleave it fit in Africa, Asia and the west.
